Character Inspiration

I really like the design of this orc character - I particuarly like the ears and the large amount of jewellery in his ears. This could potentially be something I could add to my character - I feel it gives the character a more severe appearance.

The mottled paint job on this make up is really effective - I like the build up of colours and tones (yellows, greens, browns and blues). I also like the heavy wrinkling.

I really like the exaggerated age spots of this character, the mottled appearance of the skin is very effective - similarly with the green orc above.

Considering different ways that I could incorporate hair into my design, perhaps by creating dread locks or using other types of hair such as horse hair etc. Hair is not a strength of mine and therefore this may not be a great design choice.

I really like the facial tattoos on this old character. This could make an interesting design.

The mohican style of this character is interesting, I particuarly like the braids and volume in it.

I think the ears on this sculpture by Jordu schell are brilliant, they are fantasy ears yet they look believable as they are anatomically correct. I also like the oversized nose of this sculpt.

I really like the layered look of this costume. I like the sheep skin looking material around the top of the boots. This will be reference that I shall send to my costume maker.
