Models

In my last project, I struggled to find a model which caused set backs and meant I had less time to focus on the make up. I have learnt from this and began looking for models immedately. I emailed Sophie Monro and asked if she would send this email to all of the first years. I was pleasantly surprised to recieve quite a few responses offering to model for me.

I then emailed all of the students back and asked if they would be available to meet so that I could take headshots of them, explain what the project was about & what it would entail. This was also useful as I did not get a response from one model - perhaps shows she was not that interested and may have been unreliable.

SHANINE

It would be interesting to change Shanines hair as it is a bold feature of her appearance - could look at wigs, extensions? Would need to check whether she is able to remove piercings - could be an issue.

KRYSTAL

Similarly, with Shanine - would need to check whether piercings can be removed.

Jazz

Could change hair using extensions - make longer, style differently. Perhaps wig. Would be good to work on a darker skine tone as have had little experience of this - good challenge. Jazz has no piercings which may be easier.

Decided to take measurements both with and without the bald cap, however looking back on these numbers - it is strange that they are less with the bald cap template as I would think they would be higher than without.

Using some colour swatches, I tried to match Jaz's skin tone as closely as possible. I found this was the closest match however her tone is more golden and then swatch is more green.

Jazz's family heritage is half english and half indian.
