TransfORMATION in TV
PAUL WHITEHOUSE - Aviva adverts
Paul Whitehouse is featured in Avivas adverts in various different make ups & characters.

I particularly like this character - Whitehouse is almost totally unrecognisable. I also like this character as I am interested in tattoo transfers which have been used a lot for this biker look.

Fig. 24
The wig used in this transformation is fantastic and looks so realistic. He is also wearing dentures which make a massive difference to his appearace.
Once again wigwork has been used to transform Whitehouse along with heavy eye make up. It is hard to believe that they are the same character however the changes are subtle. The costume also helps to change the context and adds to the looks.
THE FAST SHOW
This old age make up of Paul Whitehouse is slightly exaggerated and is almost a caricature make up with an emphasis on the size of his earlobes. The broken cappilaries are obvious and the wig is quite wild - this reflects the comedy context of the show.

SHERIDAN SMITH
Sheridan Smith has been transformed for many roles but without the use of prosthetics. Instead, Sheridan has been transformed using wigwork or straight make up for example her role as Cilla. She has been transformed to play characters from various different social classes.
Fig. 24.5
Smith shaved her eyebrows and her head for her role in the tv show 'The C Word'. Although this is not make up, it shows th variation of her transormations and how different she can look. It also shows how different a person can look iwthout hair - she is almost unrecognisable in 'The C Word'.
Fig. 25.1
Sheridan is well known for her role earlier in her career in Tv series '12 pints of lager and a packet of crisps' which she played a a lower class character.
Hair slicked into a high pony with scrunchy - hooped earings
FACEJACKER
Kayvan Novak is transformed into various characters in tv show Face Jacker. He is disguised using prosthetics created by Kristyan Mallet.
Kayvan Novak is from Iranian descent- I think his transformation into a caucasion man (right) looks more realistic than his transformation into Agustus, a black traffic warden
